Judith "Judy" Freudberg (July 12, 1949-June 10, 2012) she was an American television writer. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated in Syracuse University. She has collaborated with Tony Geiss in 1986's An American Tail and 1988's The Land Before Time both directed by:Don Bluth. Before those films are made she became an assistant in the music department and writer for Sesame Street.

She was awarded with Molly Boylan for the Daytime Emmy for the Outstanding Writing nomination for Elmo's World: Wild Wild West.

She died in June 10, 2012 from brain tumor in Manhattan. She was 62 years old.
